Week Beginning: 07/11/16 This week we completed our plan for our storyboard as we were making preliminary tasks, within this week we had also filmed all our shots as a group after planning them and had edited the video individually and uploaded it on blogger. Furthermore, we analysed the preliminary task ourselves with evaluative points stating what we did wrong and what we did well, in order to know and help us improve next time.


Week Beginning: 14/11/16 This week we had come to a conclusion as a group about our production name and logo and had picked from the idents we had all made as a group in the half term break. Furthermore, this week we had created all our group social media accounts to all the software's that will be used in the process of this whole coursework.Our ident was created by Ritik with further suggestions put forward by me, Daniella and Sonali.


Week Beginning: 21/11/16 This week we recored our shot by shot remake however the shots did not come out correctly and therefore I had to take the task of completing this group task with the help of Ritik. In order to redo this task I had filmed and edited everything in school and had my shot by shot remake ready as it was from a movie called "I origins" This whole filming and editing process was done with Ritik who was the actor. However, i had edited the rest of the clips together.


Week Beginning: 28/11/16 Individually we had to analyse our shot by shot remake and add "what went well" and "even better if" This would help us improve overall as we are highlighting both the positives and negatives of our shot by shot remake, encouraging reflection. As a group we started one of our tasks where we had to state the purpose of a film opening however, the rest of the group did not finish and therefore I had to finish off the slides with the content. In addition to this, I had done both the micro and macro elements when analysing two different genres as well as micro and macro elements when analysing two different thriller films the films I had chosen include: se7en and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. In addition to this Daniella and I had finished off completing pros and cons of our genre crime thriller, as we discussed then wrote them down on emaze, after which we improved the visual aspects of the emaze.


Week Beginning: 5/12/16 This week we had planned to do our Target Audience profile which was A Day In The Life and discussed everything else we needed to plan for it and went out on the weekend to film and get all the data and shots needed. In addition I completed a psycho graphic and demographic info graphic about our target audience. In addition Sonali had done her Genre Typecasting which was then evaluated by the rest of the group for improvements. Furthermore, I had done research on Levi Strauss and his theory on Binary Opposites. As I had been given the role of researching class as a representation I made an emaze on it. In addition to this any areas of representation that were left over were completed by me. Lastly, I had created a whole Wix website about my director and his style: "David Ayer".


Week Beginning: 12/12/16 In order to figure out more about our target audience we had decided to do a target audience vox pop which initially highlighted what our audience wanted. During this process I planned everything and did some recording with Ritik who's main area of focus was filming and using the camera. During this week I had also completed my Job role research by finding out about my Job Role as an editor and making an info-graphic Furthermore, I had completed the Random Story Game with the group which consisted of us thinking of a plot in time conditions. We were given location, prop and setting and we had to come up with a plot this was very useful because it helped me think more creatively. I decided to do additional research and analyse another AS students film opening and evaluated WWW and EBI.


Week Beginning: 19/12/16 This week we had to make our own individual stories and pitch them to the rest of the class where we would gain feedback about our films. I had used Powtoon to ensure I had a creative way of putting forward my information to the class. Afterwards the whole class had given me Feedback on Socrative. My film was called "Enchantress" As a group we all had to compete in order to see whos films was liked the most by the rest of the class and I had tied with Daniella and so we had decided to have elements of both our films and merge them into one.


Week Beginning: 09/01/17 This week consisted of annotating several different film opening scrips and answering several different questions about them as well as analysing them from my roles point of view as the editor. We also had our Greenlight meeting as a group where we had to pitch our movie to the rest of the class where we gained important insight into their opinions, This week I edited the random story game and did any other editing that was present at the time.


Week Beginning: 16/01/17 As a group we were breaking down scripts in school as well as individually breaking down and analysing scripts from several films and highlighting and identifying structural elements. We watched a clip called Jigsaw and answered questions about it as a group we took part and answered a few questions evenly spreading out the workload as evenly as possible.


Week Beginning: 23/01/17 This week Daniella and I completed all the script read through and uploaded any missing work. Furthermore, I had helped Ritik edit the Day In The Life and upload it. In order to ensure our film opening came out the way it did, I did some test shoots and gathered some test footage. In addition, I created a brochure as I took on board two roles as editor and Producer. This is also the week where we had several modifications and changes made to the script until we had one final script ready. After this, Ritik and I created online forums where several people had completed the forums in order to let us know their opinions about the film giving us rich data about our audience and taking on board their feedback I initiated any proposed changes to the group whom them took a decision collaboratively.


Week Beginning: 30/02/12 This week is where I found all the candidates for our casting and planned all of the auditions and Ritik and Sonali had filmed them. Furthermore, I edited the casting video and uploaded it on my blogger myself. Ritik and I had also gone to a Digitas Advertising workshop in order to gain a deeper insight about the power of advertising as well as going to Bett 2016 whereby we learned about new editing software's such as Camtasia. These locations were usually quite far away and had ensured that we knew about our available options when it came to editing and advertising our film opening.


Week Beginning: 06/02/17 This week Sonali and I had filmed all our cast and audition them in order to see who played the best role. My personal contribution was finding all possible candidates and planning how the audition was going as well as filming and editing the whole casting scenes. From a wide variety of participants i strongly felt as if our actor should be Sonia who we all decided collaboratively as a group as our actor. After this we had discussed what shooting will be done in the holidays and when it shall be done.


Week Beginning: 13/02/17 In order to ensure all our shots had come out the way we wanted them to Ritik and I did a Test Shoot where we filmed all our props as if we were actually filming our film opening as well as editing it the way we wanted it to look. Daniella and I had also used Garage Band to see what type of music it created and I edited and uploaded this to blogger. Even thought this music was not used, Ritik and I used VirtualDJPro and Audacity to edit and make our music which was then used. I had completed the location recce and the production schedule as well as contacting all our locations and getting them to fill out our release forms and asking for permission to film. In addition to this I had bought all the props such as the Gun that will be used in the opening. Due to busy time schedules Ritik and I had to travel to two of our locations which were Madison Roof Top Bar and Tate Modern Viewing Deck as well as a train station in order to get several shots. As he was mainly behind the camera, I had decided to do all the planning and figure out directions and plan the day. This also meant that I had gotten several different behind the scenes of Ritik doing filming and edited and put this up on blogger.


Week Beginning: 27/02/17 Ritik and I did a shot scrutiny whereby we went through all the clips and I made a edit decision list about what shots we should use and should not use. As well as adding further scenes, this meant I had to take the camera and other resources home in order to film these shots at home and then edit and add them to our wide selection of clips. Furthermore, I also put them in order based on the storyboard Daniella and I had created. I had also begun editing my rough cut.


Week Beginning: 06/03/17 During this week, whilst editing our rough cut I had realised some shots were not usable at all- this meant Sonali and I had to re-shoot some of the shots at her house, and at the park as well as at the police station with our actor Sonia. Daniella and Ritik could not attend.


Week Beginning: 13/03/17 After this I edited the transition cut with the several different new shots that we had previously filmed. In addition to this I was helping Daniella and Sonali pick an appropriate font to use as our typography choice. As well as finishing off the transition cut, I helped Ritik add all the special effects to the movie and doing all the several different types of jobs, helping everyone in my group .


Week Beginning: 20/03/17 This week consisted of recording our narration and adding all folly sounds that need to be added to the movie opening. I had started completing my evaluation questions and planning them so when they needed to be done I could just get on with them. I had filmed a question based around "MasterMind" but called it "MasterDistributor" however due to the lack of specialist software I was unable to edit my clip properly this led to me getting rid of the clips completely and having to resort to a different means of "creative" presentation of information.This week, I added all the rest of the credits and added music ensured everything was on beat and looks aesthetically pleasing.

Week Beginning: 27/03/17 This week consisted of making all final changes to our blogger and ensuring all work is complete and up to date and to ensure we are not missing anything.I had the responsibility of checking and alerting everyone if they had not completed any work. We were also working on our group evaluation question that I had planned individually whilst making a script and giving everyone their own individual roles as well as having Ritik and I edit this whole clip and then uploading it all on Blogger. I also created several different posters and promotional material as part of my evaluation questions.
